Arsenal could be an attractive proposition for Tammy Abraham amid links with the Emirates, according to The Telegraph.

The Gunners have been linked with the Chelsea striker for a number of weeks now.

According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are willing to meet Abraham’s £125,000-a-week wage demands.

And given the Blues appear to be closing in on Romelu Lukaku, this would push Abraham further down the pecking order.

The Telegraph reiterates that Arsenal hold a serious interest in Abraham.

The 23-year-old was a boyhood Gunners fan and a move to the Emirates would appear to be an attractive proposition, added the report.

That said, Arsenal may need to sell players to fund a permanent move, with £40million a widely reported price tag.

And the Gunners would have to be mindful of Atalanta, who are reportedly looking to steal a march on their rivals by making a bid for Abraham.

The Italians are apparently “flush with cash” in wake of the Cristian Romero deal with Spurs.

In addition, they’re reportedly expecting £34million from selling Duvan Zapata to Inter Milan.

Could Arsenal land “unbelievable” striker?

Abraham appears surplus to Thomas Tuchel’s requirements at Stamford Bridge.

But the 6ft 3in sharpshooter is a high-calibre player who has done well throughout his career.

Abraham has taken in three loan stints while at Chelsea, including at Villa.

He was sensational on loan at Villa Park, scoring 26 Championship goals en route to promotion.

Abraham has since shown he has what it takes at the highest level with Chelsea.

The £80,000-a-week ace claimed 18 goals and six assists in 2019-20, and 12 goals and six assists last season.

Abraham, who Jack Grealish has previously deemed “unbelievable“, has also won six caps for England.
