Arsenal believe that they will be able to convince Fiorentina to agree a deal that would see Dusan Vlahovic become their second-biggest buy of all-time, with The Independent reporting that the Gunners want to pay the £62.6 million fee over four years.
Arsenal continue to make the biggest play to land Vlahovic this month. Of course, it is going to be imperative that Mikel Arteta signs at least one new striker in either January or the summer.

And Vlahovic looks to be the man Arsenal desperately want. Unsurprisingly, the sticking point is looking set to surround the transfer fee, with I Viola demanding their full asking price in one go.
The Independent reports that Arsenal are willing to meet that price for Vlahovic. However, they would ideally like to pay the fee over four years.

Interestingly, it is suggested that the Gunners believe that they can agree a package. But Fiorentina are said to be reluctant about such a deal.
Arsenal fans should be excited with Gunners believing they’ve found way to seal Dusan Vlahovic deal
It would be a real coup for Arsenal to pay for Vlahovic over four years. He would cost around £16 million each year. And that has the potential to be an incredible bargain.
Certainly, it would anger a number of Europe’s heavyweights if the Gunners won the race. Vlahovic is one of the most exciting talents in the world right now. Micah Richards seemed to hit the nail on the head by once labelling the Serbian a ‘ridiculous‘ player.
Arsenal do have other options up their sleeve. It was reported this week that the Serie A side are not against a player-plus-cash deal. And they currently have Lucas Torreira on loan.
Using Torreira would certainly only help Arsenal’s cause.
It is incredibly exciting for Arsenal fans that they believe that a deal for Vlahovic is possible, and they still have plenty of time left this month to get those terms across the line.
