Arsenal and Newcastle United are amongst the clubs to have made contact with Villarreal as they weigh up a future move for Yeremy Pino, according to a report from El Desmarque.

Yeremy has established himself as one of the most exciting talents in Spain. The 19-year-old made his international debut for Luis Enrique’s side last year.

He is not yet a guaranteed starter for Villarreal. But he did put many of his admirers on notice recently when he scored four in a 5-1 win over Espanyol.

Certainly, the Yellow Submarine are determined to keep Yeremy. El Desmarque reports he is under contract until 2027. And his release clause is worth £67.3 million.

Real Madrid are interested. However, they are planning to focus their funds elsewhere this summer. And that may have opened the door for a number of Premier League clubs.

El Desmarque reports that Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester City have all made contact with Villarreal regarding a potential move for Yeremy Pino.

It is noted that they are yet to take their interest further.

Could Arsenal snatch Yeremy Pino away from Unai Emery?

Yeremy’s form has been a little inconsistent this term. His return of two league goals before the four recently was underwhelming.

However, he looks to have the potential to become an incredibly special talent. The clubs chasing his signature tells its own story.

Of course, Unai Emery may be powerless to stop the teenager leaving. One club may decide to take the gamble and meet his release clause.

Obviously, Newcastle are likely to spend big this summer. But Arsenal also need to make big changes in the final third. Both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are out of contract.

Yeremy would not necessarily be a signing to play up front. But it would be a massive statement of intent for Arsenal to sign the starlet this summer.
