Crystal Palace are hopeful that they will sign Eddie Nketiah this summer, but the Evening Standard reports that the Arsenal striker is assessing his options.
Nketiah remains on course to leave the Gunners at the end of the season. His contract at the Emirates expires in the coming months. And the two parties are yet to reach any sort of agreement on his future.

Reports claimed that Newcastle United want to sign the 22-year-old in January. However, he has remained in Mikel Arteta’s squad. And actually, he has been a little more involved in recent weeks.
Nevertheless, it would appear that he is still looking likely to leave in the summer. The Evening Standard reports that Palace are now hopeful of securing a deal for Nketiah.

It is noted that the Arsenal starlet is believed to still be assessing his options. Of course, he is already able to agree a pre-contract deal with a foreign club due to his contract situation.
Nketiah looks more likely to leave Arsenal than Lacazette amid Crystal Palace links
Nketiah has featured a little more lately. And he did help Arsenal turn their clash with Wolves around recently.
Mikel Arteta has previously lauded his ‘incredible‘ attitude. So you would imagine that he would be happy to keep the youngster beyond this season.
Having said that, if Arsenal are going to keep one striker beyond this season, it is surely Alexandre Lacazette who needs to be kept.
Lacazette has been outstanding of late. He has really stepped up into the team leader role. And Arsenal are now reportedly considering offering him a better deal than the one already on the table.
On that evidence, it is perhaps fair to suggest that Nketiah playing for Crystal Palace next season looks more likely than Arsenal, as things stand.
