Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are allegedly interested in signing Lorenzo Insigne on a free transfer.
What’s the story?
According to Calciomercato, Internazionale remain ‘spectators’ in the race to sign the Euro 2020 winner.
Insigne has just one year left on his current contract and will be free to speak to foreign clubs in January.
The winger has been in talks with Napoli over a new contract but is failing to reach an agreement over wages. Insigne is demanding £5m-per-year, while the Naples-based outfit are offering just £3m-per-year.
The Gunners are not the only Premier League team in for the Italy international. Tottenham Hotspur are also allegedly keen on landing the £20m-rated ace.

Insigne would be another Willian-esque move from Arsenal
Experienced, demanding big wages and not getting any younger. Does it remind you of anyone?
Last summer, Mikel Arteta made the critical error of signing Willian, who has proved to be a monumental flop. Just one Premier League goal in his debut season shows you how badly the Brazilian performed.
The Gunners have so much young talent, it is rather ridiculous. Signing the experienced ace only hampers the development of the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
And then you have the likes of Nicolas Pepe, who is entering his prime years. The Ivorian has been brilliant during this calendar year and deserves trust as opposed to a meaningless signing.
While he may be a good player, there are signs Insigne could prove to be a Willian-esque signing for Arsenal amid their alleged interest.
