For the second time in a week, Tottenham Hotspur created some late drama with a last-minute goal.

On this occasion though it wasn’t ruled out as Rodrigo Bentancur sent Tottenham’s travelling fans mad.

A report from The Athletic watched Antonio Conte throughout the match as his side once again started slowly.

Conte was frustrated for much of the game, but will be delighted to have ground out an important three points.

Spurs initially went 2-0 down after a brace from Kieffer Moore but bounced back fantastically in the final 30 minutes.

Goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Ben Davies and Bentancur will give Conte’s side some much-needed momentum going into Tuesday’s massive Champions League tie.

The Athletic’s report suggests that Antonio Conte struggled to contain his fury at one point during the match.

As Son Heung-min lined up to take a free kick, Conte wanted Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp to offer an option either side.

Instead, they both went left and Conte was left furious at Sessegnon and Skipp as a result.

Conte unleashed a ‘tirade of expletives’ at the pair afterwards, and clearly was very frustrated that he wasn’t being listened to.

Conte furious with Sessegnon and Skipp

Ryan Sessegnon was certainly motivated by Conte’s actions on the side of the pitch.

He admitted after the game that he noticed he was about to be substituted just before he scored.

It was a composed finish from the 22-year-old, who is in a battle with Ivan Perisic for game time this season.

Skipp’s rustiness could be attributed to his lack of minutes this season, after missing months of action due to an injury.

It’s a good sign that Conte has thrown him back into the starting XI now, and he highlighted him for praise after their defeat to Newcastle.

Conte is incredibly demanding of his players and sets a very high bar for their performances.

He’s also a very emotional manager, and Skipp and Sessegnon certainly realised that after his furious reaction to their off-the-ball runs.

It’s a tactical point that can be discussed after the match, but the most important thing will be the three points they’ve taken back to north London.
