Report: Agent of Tottenham linked Pjanic travelling to Italy
The agent of Tottenham Hotspur linked Miralem Pjanic will be in Milan in the coming days to hold talks over a move, according to Calciomercato.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are reportedly interested in the central midfielder this summer. According to Sport, the newly-appointed head coach has given the green light to complete a move for the Barcelona man.
Pjanic endured a tough campaign with the Catalan giants last season, featuring in just 30 games across all competitions. He played 19 times in La Liga, featuring in only two of the last 14 fixtures.
The publication is claiming that the possibility of returning to Italy is ‘quite concrete’. Inter Milan and Juventus have joined Spurs in the race for the ace.
Tottenham in danger of missing out
Tottenham are in danger of missing out on Pjanic as his agent prepares for a trip to Italy.
Interest from the two Serie A giants throws a spanner in the works for Nuno’s plans.
The duo have a lot more to offer the Bosnia international ahead of Spurs. Juventus will be playing in the Champions League, while Inter won the league title last season
However, as Arsenal showed last summer, there is always a chance to attract top players without being able to offer much.
The Gunners’ signing of Thomas Partey gives hope to Tottenham over their chase of Pjanic.
