Report: AC Milan now want to sign 'incredible' Tottenham player who Antonio Conte's never used yet
French outlet Foot Mercato report that there is growing interest in the Frenchman as the end of the market moves closer and major leagues start to kick off.
Milan have just won Serie A and ahead of the defence of their crown, they want a new central midfielder to add to their ranks.
They are also in negotiations to sign Japhet Tanganga on loan from Spurs, and a potential stumbling block is the inclusion of an obligation to buy.
AC Milan want Ndombele
Marseille have signed one outcast central midfielder from north London in the shape of Matteo Guendouzi this summer, and are apparently keen on another in Ndombele.
Galatasaray is also another for the midfielder, but that could depend on whether they land another unwanted Gunners man in Lucas Torreira.
The report says Ndombele rather a move to Italy or Spain and Napoli and Villarreal are also apparently in the mix for him.
Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen are also in the chase, but it seems no club is currently definitely leading the chase.
Ndombele has had a rotten time of things since moving to Tottenham and Antonio Conte has not used him once.
He also left him off the pre-season tour to South Korea, and likely hoped that a suitor had come forward more strongly for the Frenchman by now.
Despite flashes of brilliance and being labelled by Declan Rice as being an ‘incredible’ talent, the French star just hasn’t got going, and a move away suits all parties.
