Tottenham are among the clubs reportedly in the chase to sign Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan this summer.
Corriere Dello Sport claim that an offer of £58 million could get the Argentine striker away from the San Siro when the transfer market opens.
But they also say that Atletico Madrid are leading the chase to sign the hitman, with Spurs on the back foot at this stage.

That said, it has also been reported that Atletico are at the front of the queue for Darwin Nunez, who is another red-hot striker set to move this summer.
It seems unlikely that Atletico would sign both, but maybe they are planning a huge summer of activity to transform their frontline.
Also, will Spurs really move for Lautaro unless they lose Harry Kane? It does not seem that the budget or necessity would be there otherwise.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke has told Give Me Sport: “I think Fabio Paratici is a big fan of Lautaro Martinez, as is Antonio Conte.
“If they get any indication that maybe a deal can be done, I’m sure they will consider it.”
It seems Spurs have a bit of work to do on this one and plenty likely depends on whether they are in next season’s Champions League.
Atletico are still not assured of that themselves, in fairness, and it would be a big shock if they found the cash for Nunez and Lautaro in the same summer, when they still have the likes of Luis Suarez, Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann.
