Former Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos is preparing to face his ex-club in the Champions League with Real Madrid on Wednesday and he has a clear message for them.

The Gunners head to the Spanish capital looking to defend their 3-0 lead from the first-leg after ripping apart the European champions at the Emirates Stadium.

Declan Rice’s two stunning free kicks and Mikel Merino’s fourth career goal against Real Madrid means Los Blancos have plenty of work to do at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Speaking ahead of the mammoth clash, Ceballos has issued a strong warning to Arsenal as they gear up for the match at the Bernabeu.

Dani Ceballos’ Real Madrid rallying cry ahead of Arsenal clash

Dani Ceballos has urged Real Madrid’s players and supporters to give everything on Wednesday and insists the team still believes they can advance.

The 28-year-old is expecting an ‘incredible atmosphere’ at the stadium with the Gunners looking to replicate what Arsene Wenger’s team managed 19 years ago.

Ceballos, who was praised by Mikel Arteta during his time at Arsenal, is now ready for another special night at the Bernabeu.

Speaking after Madrid’s 1-0 win over Alavez, he told the media: “We need players who give 200 percent, a dedicated fan base that believes like we do. The only option we have is that together we are stronger.

“On Wednesday, we expect an incredible atmosphere at the Bernabeu to turn around a very difficult result. We’ll be waiting for you this Wednesday because we need you more than ever.”

Dani Ceballos on his injury status ahead of Arsenal clash

Ceballos has been sidelined with an injury for several weeks which saw him miss a return to the Emirates for the first-leg.

However, the midfielder made his return to action over the weekend as he came on as a substitute in Madrid’s 1-0 win over Alaves.

Speaking about his injury, Ceballos revealed: “Little by little, I’m getting better, feeling better. I’m happy to be back with the team and able to help them.”
