Leeds star may have played his final game at Elland Road, was spotted sat on his own after the full-time whistle

Leeds United snatched a late draw against Brighton today as they scored late on to breathe some sort of fresh life into their fight against relegation.

The Whites had looked like losing to the Seagulls after Danny Welbeck scored. Jesse Marsch’s side huffed and puffed all game and finally got their reward in injury time, when Pascal Struijk netted to send Elland Road wild.

Of course, with Everton now winning against Brighton as we write this, Leeds could be in a two-way battle with Burnley when it comes to the final day of the season.

However, while Leeds fans might be delighted with taking what could be a crucial point, their mood might dampen a bit when it comes to seeing some of the club’s best players again. Certainly, Kalvin Phillips appeared emotional at the full-time whistle, and fellow star, Raphinha, could have also indicated he is off.

Spotted by the BBC’s Jonathan Buchan, Raphinha apparently spent a good period of time sat on his own after the full-time whistle, before being comforted by the aforementioned Phillips.

Of course, a host of clubs are said to be keen on Raphinha. Newcastle are the latest to have registered an interest in the Brazilian, who has been one of Leeds’ outstanding players in the last two seasons.

TBR’s View: Raphinha Looks Certain To Leave Leeds After Brighton

All Raphinha can try and do is help Leeds stay in the Premier League. But if the writing appeared to be on wall already when it comes to him leaving, his actions today hints the ink is well and truly dried.

Raphinha has been brilliant for Leeds ever since he signed. However, there’s always been a nagging doubt in the minds of Leeds fans when it comes to him staying long-term.

He looks like a man who’s had his last hurrah at Elland Road anyway. And if that is the case, then Leeds fans will be gutted.
