Ryan Kent’s future continues to be the centre for speculation at the moment, but it seems the Rangers players are doing their all to bring the Liverpool ace back to Ibrox – and Connor Goldson is the latest to do just that.
Kent, 22, has since been linked with Aston Villa and Leeds United following his excellent first campaign at Ibrox. He scored six goals, laid on nine assists and starred in Old Firm clashes against Celtic.
Goal claimed earlier this week that Kent had rejected a loan move to Championship-promotion contenders Leeds, stating he wants to fight for his place at Liverpool or move on a permanent basis.
It is believed Liverpool want as much as £12million for his signature, but Rangers remain in the fight to sign the Oldham-born ace. Andy Halliday wrote “announce Kent” on Instagram this week, now Goldson has done similar.
The centre-back posted an emoji of a paper and pen, urging Kent to sign a deal.
It is clear to see that the Rangers players want Kent to return to Ibrox, after they witnessed first hand the dramatic effect he had on Steven Gerrard’s side from the left wing.
His pace, tenacity, skill and determination all shone through. The longer he spent in the Rangers side, the more his end product improved, too. At £12million, he is too expensive, but if Rangers can land him on loan, he would be a top addition.
