Andy Halliday has teased Rangers fans by suggesting the club could soon sign Ryan Kent again on Instagram, with a comment on the club’s post of an ‘On The Spot’ interview.
The Scottish Sun claim that Steven Gerrard is desperate to bring the 22-year-old back to Ibrox this summer, after an excellent season-long loan at Ibrox during the 2018-19 campaign.
He had a hand in 15 goals for Rangers last season, scoring six goals and laying on nine assists. Kent earned the admiration of Rangers fans with excellent displays in Old Firm clashes against Celtic.
The recent report claims Kent is worth a whopping £10million, though it remains to be seen if the Gers will land Kent permanently or on another loan. Halliday commented on the Instagram post, saying “announce Kent”.

TBR’s view
It is clear to see that Rangers fans and even the club itself want Kent to return to Rangers this summer. Now, it is obvious that the players want the Liverpool star to return, too.
His speed, skills and eye for goal gave Rangers one of the best wingers in Scottish football. Certainly, he is one of the first names on the team sheet under Gerrard – his Young Player of the Season award proving just that.
Aston Villa and Leeds have been linked with a move for Kent, while Liverpool are yet to decide what to do with the winger. But with Halliday keen to see Kent signed, fans will be hoping a deal is getting closer.
