Rangers have reportedly rejected a bid from Premier League side West Ham to lure Kai Kennedy south from Ibrox this summer. The 19-year-old caught the eye last season after going on loan to Inverness, and then to Raith. Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the bid for Kennedy.
Kennedy is highly-rated in the Rangers academy and certainly has a decent chance of breaking into Steven Gerrard’s side. However, with the turnover of players every summer, Gerrard might struggle to give him the required game time. A move is likely in the coming weeks and months.

What are Rangers fans saying about the bid from West Ham for Kennedy?
But the most-likely move is another loan deal, to a better Scottish side to prove to Gerrard what he is capable of. Dunfermline have been strongly linked with a move for Kennedy – who was recently called up to Scotland’s Under-21 side. West Ham, though, have tried to hijack a move.
The Mail claim that Rangers have decided to knock back an offer of £600,000 for Kennedy this summer. It is a sizeable figure for a player that has only played once for the Gers as of yet, but also a signal of intent from the Rangers board. Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter.
