Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon is expected to miss Spurs’ upcoming Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace.

This is according to Paul O’Keefe, who provided an update on the Tottenham attacker via his X account.

Solomon has been sidelined since the start of October after suffering a meniscus injury to his right knee in training which required surgery.

As per the Evening Standard, the 24-year-old underwent another minor procedure earlier this month after feeling discomfort in his recovery.

On Thursday afternoon, O’Keefe wrote on social media about Spurs trio Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and Richarlison.

Porro is said to be “struggling”, Udogie is “further along”, and “no news” on Richarlison.

When a fan asked O’Keefe about Solomon’s fitness, O’Keefe replied: “Not this weekend as far as I’m aware.”

Tottenham will be eager to have Manor Solomon back in the fold

Solomon joined Tottenham on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer. He has made six appearances for Spurs, including three starts, before his injury.

The Israel international impressed for Fulham last term and looked bright for Tottenham earlier this season.

Ange Postecoglou deemed Solomon “really exciting” last year, while Marco Silva described the player as “quality”.

He is very well-suited to Postecoglou’s system and the fact he can play off both sides could prove crucial in terms of him getting opportunities once he’s back.

Let’s hope that Solomon is on the right track and can return to training – and then to competitive action – before long.
