Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou was not entirely happy with Guglielmo Vicario against Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
That is according to Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, who has noted on X an incident during the Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
So, what has been reported about Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario? Let’s take a look.
Incident between Ange Postecoglou and Guglielmo Vicario during Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United
Well, Tottenham Hotspur hammered Newcastle United 4-1 at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Spurs were the better team in the Premier League game, and I believe that the North London club deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Guglielmo Vicario played well in the game. The 27-year-old is the number one goalkeeper for Spurs now, having joined from Empoli in the summer of 2023 for £17.2 million (Sky Sports).
Vicario has been brilliant for Tottenham between the posts, but it seems that against Newcastle on Sunday, his passing did not always impress Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou.
As you can see, Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold noted an incident in the second half when Postecoglou was not pleased with Vicario.
Tottenham Hotspur could end up in Premier League top four
In my view, Tottenham Hotspur have what it takes to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Spurs are now fifth in the league table with 30 points from 16 matches. The North London club are three points behind defending champions Manchester City.
Liverpool, Arsenal and City are likely to be the sides who finish in the top three. Aston Villa, Tottenham, Manchester United and Newcastle United are the teams battling for the fourth spot.
Spurs have not had positive results lately and have also been conceding more goals than they should have. They need to rectify that.
