The Brazilian media were unimpressed with Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus’ performance against Argentina last night.
Brazil fell to a 1-0 defeat to Lionel Scaloni’s men thanks to a Nicolas Otamendi effort in the second half.
Gabriel Jesus returned to action as he started from the off after spending the last few weeks on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old hasn’t featured for Arsenal since the 2-1 win over Sevilla last month after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Gunners were reportedly in constant contact with Brazil over Jesus’ fitness and it would appear he was ready to feature last night.

Jesus started from the off, alongside his Arsenal teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes.
And the Arsenal striker has received some criticism from the Brazilian media after his latest display.
Jesus struggles on return for Brazil
Ge Globo handed Jesus a five out of 10 rating after his performance against Argentina.
The outlet notes the Arsenal star struggled to make an impact in the game and despite a couple of bright moments, he produced ‘almost nothing’.
“Right at the start of the game, he left his hand on De Paul’s face and received a yellow card, which suspends him from the next round of the Qualifiers,” they wrote.
“In the first half, he fought a lot, but produced almost nothing. In the second, he made a great move at 12, when he dribbled past a marker, shot and left Martinelli in great condition to shoot over the goalkeeper. Afterwards, he participated little.”

Jesus has struggled for Brazil of late, having only found the back of the net once in his last 29 appearances.
The £45 million man isn’t exactly a prolific goalscorer but he would expect a much better return for his country.
Arsenal have had similar issues with the Brazil star of late, with Jesus netting just one Premier League goal this season.
Yet, he was bound to be slightly off the pace last night after spending the past month out injured.
It should benefit Arsenal for Jesus to get some much-needed minutes under his belt. But they will be hoping the former Manchester City forward rediscovers his confidence in front of goal soon.
