President issues £30m star contract ultimatum amid Spurs and Arsenal links
Spurs and Arsenal have been linked with Andrea Belotti in recent months.
In June, the same outlet claimed that Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have Belotti in their sights this summer.
Belotti’s contract expires next summer and he has yet to pen a new deal.
Now, Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed that his club has offered the 27-year-old a new contract.
However, he also appeared to make an ultimatum, saying “we have a month” to close a deal.
“We have already made him a proposal that is very big for our financial capabilities.
“After that, if he does not accept the offer, then we will evaluate other things.
“I don’t like to negotiate via the newspapers, but I will say we made an important offer.
“We’ll see what happens, we have a month to close a deal or do something else.”
Calciomercato claimed earlier in July that Belotti boasts a 35m euro (£30m) price tag.
Spurs and Arsenal eyeing Euro 2020 champion?
Belotti has become an icon at Torino since his 2015 move from Palermo.
The powerhouse has clocked up 228 competitive appearances for the Granata, registering 105 goals and 26 assists.
Belotti boasts several key traits including speed, acceleration, strength, work-rate, tactical awareness and of course, an eye for goal.
The centre-forward has also won 39 caps for Italy, scoring 12 goals, and was part of the Azzurri squad that triumphed at Euro 2020.
