One of the players Liverpool sold this summer has admitted that he is “very happy” to have moved away from Anfield.
Liverpool are in a great place at present, having built a squad which is the envy of most of the world’s clubs.
The squad that won the Premier League title last season has been bolstered with the likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong.
But despite Liverpool clearly being the place to be this season, one player who departed the club this summer is still pleased with the decision he has taken.

Luis Diaz ‘very happy’ to have joined Bayern Munich
Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Trent Alexander-Arnold were among the big names who left Liverpool over the summer.
Nunez has joined Al-Hilal, while Diaz has gone to Bayern Munich and Alexander-Arnold is now with Real Madrid.
Diaz was also linked with Barcelona over the summer, but he opted to join the Bundesliga champions.
And speaking to Movistar, he admitted that talks took place with Barca, but he stressed he was “very happy” with having joined Bayern.
“I’m very happy to be at Bayern, it’s a great club,” said Diaz. “There have been talks with Barca, it’s true… which is normal in the transfer market.
“I’m very happy with my decision. I’ve made an objective decision about my future.”
How Luis Diaz has fared since leaving Liverpool
Bayern negotiated a deal worth around £65million plus add-ons for Diaz, who has signed a four-year deal at the Allianz Arena.
The 28-year-old has been an ever-present for Bayern since his move, starting all five of their games so far and playing 90 minutes in four of those matches.
Diaz has had a bright start to life in Munich, scoring three goals and providing two assists from his opening three Bundesliga games.
The Colombia international also scored what turned out to be the winner in the German Super Cup.
