Photo: Arsenal ace Torreira posts picture on Instagram of flight to Spain
An image of Lucas Torreira has emerged on Instagram showing the Arsenal ace travelling to Spain.
What’s the story?
After his exertions at Copa America for Uruguay, the midfielder has failed to return for pre-season with the Gunners.
Now, it’s still unclear whether that is his decision, or the club’s. However, Torreira has snapped himself boarding a flight to Spain, meaning his absence might have been approved.
Torreira has been on the fringes of the Arsenal first team since Mikel Arteta arrived at the club.
There has been mass speculation over his future and the latest reports claim Fiorentina have reignited their interest in the £15m-rated ace.

Torreira clearly on the verge of Arsenal exit after latest Instagram activity
It seems Torreira is on the verge of sealing an Arsenal exit after his latest Instagram activity.
The player has been cast aside by Arteta for his lack of ball-playing ability. And whilst some may think it’s a wrong move, his exit will help bring some much-needed funds into the club.
Summer exits are crucial as the Gunners look to embark on yet more spending in the remaining days of the window.
Coupled with a few more departures of unwanted players, and Arsenal are in a steady position to make more signings.
It will provide a boost to Arteta’s squad as the Londoners look to take on a new challenge next season.
