'Phenomenal' Leeds player has hinted at long-term Elland Road stay
Leeds United star Brenden Aaronson has expressed his desire to become an Elland Road legend.
The Whites summer signing spoke about his long-term future in conversation with the official MLS website.
Aaronson agreed a deal with Leeds in May this year and linked up with the Whites in July.
The 21-year-old joined the Elland Road outfit on a reported £25million deal, penning a five-year contract.
Aaronson has hit the ground running at Leeds, starting each of his side’s six Premier League games so far.
He has showcased his versatility, operating both at No 10 and on the right wing, as well as his impressive work-rate.
Needless to say, Aaronson has quickly endeared himself to the Leeds fanbase.
And the United States international’s latest comments suggest he is in it for the long haul.
“I’m really grateful to be at Leeds,” Aaronson told the official MLS website.
“Everybody can see that I’m willing to work 110% and give everything.
“I just want to keep getting better and become the best way I can be and hopefully be a legend for the club at some point.”
Aaronson is a ‘phenomenal‘ player who hasn’t taken long to become a fan favourite at Leeds.
He’s still really young, and his ceiling is incredibly high.
That Aaronson wants to become a legend at Elland Road is great news for club and fans alike.
Leeds certainly have a lot going for them as far as Aaronson’s future is concerned.
He’s a crucial player in a superbly-supported Premier League club, a manager who’s right for him in Jesse Marsch, and a USMNT teammate in Tyler Adams.
