Ange Postecoglou made quite the impression at Tottenham last season and Paul Scholes has made a big prediction involving the Aussie.
Postecoglou came into Spurs and there was an immediate shift from the defensive structure under Antonio Conte to a team very much on the front foot.
Postecoglou did have his critics at times for that way of playing.
However, in the main, Tottenham fans have welcomed the attacking style and are looking forward to a big second season.
Of course, Postecoglou’s impact has seen others take a look, with Liverpool among the clubs to get a mention in terms of being interested before they moved for Arne Slot.
But speaking about Ange on The Overlap, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has said there’s only one way Postecoglou is leaving.

Paul Scholes says Ange Postecoglou is good enough to manage Real Madrid
Discussing the future of Postecoglou with the fans in studio, Scholes admitted his admiration for the Spurs boss and suggested he could manage any club in the world.
“I think the only way he will leave is to go to a bigger club,” Scholes commented.
“I think there will be teams after him. I think he is that good [that he could go to Real Madrid]. It’s alright coming across good but his teams play good football and win things. He could get close to that top four.
“That could be a big boost for him as a manager. I think he will manage big clubs. I don’t think it will be a problem to him.”
Postecoglou unfazed by any club
Ange Postecoglou has managed around the world and has a wealth of experience in terms of dealing with players from all walks of life.
With that has come a confidence in himself that, as Scholes hints at here, would see him do just fine at any club in the world.
He’s already instilled a culture change at Tottenham that has been positive in the main.
Yes, he has to get them into the top four or win something and with time, he probably will.
The signings of players like Wilson Odobert and the emergence of youth like Mikey Moore – who Postecoglou has already lauded – will only help as well.
Postecoglou, then, is very much onto something at Tottenham.
