Well, Martin Odegaard and James Maddison are two of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

While Odegaard is one of the first names on the Arsenal teamsheet, Maddison was on fire for Tottenham Hotspur since moving from Leicester City in the summer of 2023 before he got injured.

Odegaard has not been at his best for Arsenal this season, but there is no denying that the Norway international playmaker is a big figure at the North London club.

The 25-year-old has scored four goals and given three assists in 18 Premier League matches and has scored two goals in five UEFA Champions League games for the Gunners this season.

Maddison joined Spurs from Leicester City in the summer of 2023. The 27-year-old playmaker is injured at the moment.

Maddison has made 174 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored 46 goals and provided 37 assists in those games.

Odegaard has made 105 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The playmaker has scored 27 goals and given 16 assists in those games.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham are aiming to win the Premier League title this season. Spurs are only three points behind their North London rivals.

Arsenal went close to winning the title last season, and the Gunners will be determined to do better this time around.
