Spurs fans have been sharing their thoughts on social media after the club were linked with a surprise move for Portgual midfielder, Renato Sanches.

The Lille star is being linked with a host of big clubs across Europe. The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, and others are all said to be keen.

But it is Tottenham who have emerged as new faces in the mix, along with Spanish giants, Barcelona.

Damsgaard’s performances in Euro 2020 backed up a solid season with Sampdoria. His value has since sky rocketed, and it’s believed the Italian club will demand around £34m for the midfielder.

Most clubs in Europe would love the chance to land Damsgaard so it’s little wonder to see the Spurs fans excited by the news. Fabio Paratici seems to be drawing up quite the list, and Damsgaard being added has gone down well.
