Tottenham Hotspur have got their summer transfer window off to a flyer.

The window has just opened, but already Spurs have landed Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

Tottenham are likely to make more signings as they gear up for a return to Champions League action.

On Friday, football.london published Alasdair Gold’s extensive Tottenham transfer plan article.

Gold claimed Spurs could look at bringing in a “forward-thinking” option in midfield.

And Juventus ace Weston McKennie is believed to still be on Fabio Paratici’s radar, said Gold.

Indeed, the United States international was reportedly above Rodrigo Bentancur on Tottenham’s January wishlist.

Spurs failed to land McKennie as Juve were apparently unwilling to part company with him back then.

But now, Gold claims that “Paratici is expected to make another approach for the versatile Texan”.

As well as Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle are reportedly eyeing McKennie.

Tuttojuve claimed in May that all three clubs are willing to spend about 40m euros (£34m) on him.

McKennie has been labelled ‘extraordinary‘ in the past and is highly rated in Italy and in his home country.
