‘Paratici going wild’: Spurs fans delighted at links with Mikkel Damsgaard

Spurs fans have been giving their thoughts on social media as reports linked the club with a £21.3m move for Sampdoria winger, Mikkel Damsgaard.

Damsgaard was one of the shining lights of Euro 2020 with Denmark and saw his stock rise even more over the summer. Indeed, a number of clubs are said to be monitoring his progress.

However, reports today have suggested it is Spurs who are likely to make a bid for him first. An offer of around 25m Euros is expected, although it’s claimed Sampdoria could demand as much as 35m.

But that hasn’t stopped Spurs fans getting excited for the potential arrival of Damsgaard.

Fabio Paratici seems to be getting going in terms of adding new players. Adding Damsgaard, then, would only enhance his reputation among the Tottenham faithful.

The young Dane is certainly a brilliant talent. He’d bring directness, pace, and goals to the Spurs midfield if he does sign.
