Paratici a huge fan of Tottenham target Adama Traore - journalist
Journalist Ryan Taylor has told Give Me Sport that Fabio Paratici is a huge fan of Adama Traore amid reports Tottenham Hotspur could still make a move for the Spain international this summer.
Perhaps surprisingly, Adama remains a Wolves player heading into the final stages of the transfer window. He left Molineux during the January transfer window, joining Barcelona on loan.
Barca had an opportunity to sign him permanently. But they decided against a deal.
Of course, his move to Camp Nou only came about after weeks of heavy links with Tottenham. Reports claimed that Spurs made a life-changing offer to the wide-man.
Tottenham, of course, have made a raft of signings this summer. Nevertheless, reports suggested that Spurs still want Adama.
And Taylor has now provided an insight into who may be driving the interest. He did hint that Adama is not close to going anywhere right now. But there is plenty of admiration for the 26-year-old at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
”Paratici is a huge fan, he tried to sign him when he was at Juventus, Conte obviously wanted him in January before he got the Barcelona move. But at the moment, there’s been surprisingly little interest in him,” he told Give Me Sport.

Tottenham are in a much better position to pursue a deal for a player such as Adama. His Wolves contract expires next summer. And with that, his asking price is only going to keep dropping.
Spurs now have depth all over the pitch. But they also have four competitions to compete in. And so, a move for Adama may start to make a little more sense.
At his best, Adama is an ‘incredible‘ player. And if Antonio Conte can unlock his full potential, he could be an inspired signing.
