Jack Harrison provided the icing on the cake on Saturday as Leeds United produced a big win in their battle to stay in the Premier League – with a goal that may not have escaped the attention of some at Tottenham Hotspur.
Harrison scored a brilliant third for the Whites. He got onto the end of Sam Greenwood’s through ball and drilled a shot into the far corner that Ben Foster stood no chance of keeping out.

You could certainly hear the collective sigh of relief amongst the away fans as Leeds bagged their third against Watford. The three points have taken a lot of pressure off Jesse Marsch’s men.
The game also saw Harrison make it three goals in three. And he is now only one away from matching his tally of Premier League goals from the entirety of last season.

It is a remarkable record given that Harrison has struggled for much of this campaign. He has struggled to replicate the form he showed last year. That is reflected in the fact that he has seven fewer assists.
But his record since the turn of the year is absolutely outstanding. Marsch has labelled him ‘fantastic‘. And that may explain why he is apparently attracting attention from elsewhere in the Premier League.
Jack Harrison form for Leeds unlikely to be going unnoticed at Tottenham
Reports have claimed that Tottenham want Harrison this summer. Andrea Pirlo has apparently recommended the winger to Fabio Paratici.
And what will certainly help convince Spurs about the 25-year-old is the fact that only one player has scored more goals in the Premier League in 2022 than Harrison. And that is Harry Kane.
The Leeds man has scored seven in his last 14 in the top-flight, with the highlight coming when he scored a brilliant hat-trick at West Ham.
Obviously, you would struggle to suggest that Harrison would get into the Tottenham side ahead of Dejan Kulusevski or Son Heung-min. But he is definitely in outstanding form in front of goal.
Leeds look to be well on their way to ensuring that they will remain in the Premier League next year. But they may now have to be prepared for a bigger fight to keep Harrison if his run of form continues.
