‘One of the best’: Yannick Bolasie now tweets about £30m Everton man after watching Premier Leagues games today

Yannick Bolasie has now tweeted about Everton man Jordan Pickford after watching Premier League games today.

Pickford joined the Toffees back in 2017 for a fee worth up to £30 million (BBC) and has been a mainstay in the side ever since.

The 28-year-old put in a Man of the Match performance in the Merseyside derby yesterday as helped his side earn a goalless draw

And former Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has heaped praise on Pickford.

He took to Twitter during the Manchester United vs Arsenal game and described the England international as ‘one of the best’.

Bolasie tweets about Pickford

Bolasie wrote: “Also when I watch these games in Prem [Premier League]…keepers wise, Pickford one of the best in terms of making big saves for his team regardless of mistakes in front.”

Pickford certainly made some huge saves in the Merseyside derby and was a big reason that Frank Lampard’s men came away with a point.

The former Sunderland man has often come under scrutiny for making mistakes for the Toffees but has been very consistent over the past year.

Bolasie also tweeted about Pickford while watching Aaron Ramsdale and David De Gea, who are both seen as two of the top shot stoppers in the league.

The former Crystal Palace winger clearly rates his former teammate highly and places him amongst the best in the Premier League.

Pickford will be hoping to continue his brilliant form before the World Cup in November.

The Everton goalkeeper faces serious competition from Ramsdale and even Dean Henderson, who has been in excellent form for Nottingham Forest.

There’s no doubt that Pickford is currently viewed as England’s number one goalkeeper by Gareth Southgate. But if he is to fight off competition from his teammates, he will have to maintain his current form.
