West Ham United are on the verge of signing Lucas Paqueta, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Over the past two days, the Hammers have made huge progress in talks for the Lyon star.
On Thursday afternoon, the deal looked like it was touch-and-go.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham made a second bid worth £42million, but Lyon rejected it.
There were fears the deal would be off, but in the evening, things quickly started heading in the right direction.
Romano reported that West Ham took part in a direct call with Lyon on Thursday night.
This kick-started talks again and paved the way for further – and more fruitful – negotiations.
Friday saw a number of positive developments regarding West Ham’s pursuit of Paqueta.
And reports today suggest that the Hammers have agreed a club-record £53million deal for the Brazil international.
Romano claims the two clubs have exchanged contracts, with Paqueta on his way to London for a medical on Sunday.
The 25-year-old will pen a five-year contract at the London Stadium, added the transfer insider.
Paqueta will become West Ham’s eighth signing of the summer if they get a deal over the line.
David Moyes has brought in four back line players in Alphonse Areola, Nayef Aguerd, Thilo Kehrer and Emerson Palmieri.
Gianluca Scamacca and Maxwel Cornet have bolstered the attacking ranks, while Flynn Downes is the only midfielder to have joined thus far.
