Nottingham Forest really want to sign a £50m-rated Arsenal player this summer transfer window.

Arsenal have made a pretty slow start to their summer window but Riccardo Calafiori is now closing in on a move.

Mikel Arteta is hoping to add a central midfielder and an attacker to his ranks, with Mikel Merino and Nico Williams believed to be top of his wishlist.

To facilitate these deals, they’ll have to offload players and with that said, Nottingham Forest are really keen to sign one of their outcasts.

Nottingham Forest dreaming of move to sign Aaron Ramsdale

According to Alan Nixon, Nottingham Forest are dreaming of a move to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The Gunners number two is expected to move on this summer after losing his place to David Raya last season.

Newcastle were looking at a deal but that’s not expected to materialise and now Forest are keen to secure his signature on a loan deal.

Ramsdale has a £50m price tag which the East Midlanders are unwilling to meet, though, they are willing to play the waiting game in the hope that Arsenal soften their stance and allow him to depart on loan towards the latter stages of the window.

Reiss Nelson also attracting interest

Reiss Nelson is another Arsenal star who could be on their way out this summer.

The 24-year-old is being targeted by newly-promoted Leicester City, who are confident of striking a deal with The Gunners.

Emile Smith Rowe is on the verge of departing for West London club Fulham for a substantial fee worth £35m, which will make him their record sale.

In other news, Arsenal are insisting on trying to bring ‘incredible’ £86m striker to the Emirates.
