Noa Lang was amongst the raft of players to send messages to Crysencio Summerville on Instagram after the winger got the chance to make his Leeds United debut on Friday night.
Summerville has pushed himself into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans in recent months. The 19-year-old had been an unused substitute in all of the Whites’ fixtures ahead of their trip to Newcastle.

But Leeds are having to deal with a host of injury problems. And they were dealt a further blow ahead of the trip to Tyneside.
Jack Harrison confirmed that he was missing the game due to COVID. And with that, Dan James made his full Whites debut against the Magpies.
Unfortunately, Leeds’ problems did not end there. Raphinha was one of the players who had to be taken off due to a knock during the second-half.

That presented Summerville with the opportunity to make his first-team debut for Leeds. And he went on to produce a bright cameo.
Some of his touches provided glimpses of the excitement he is set to bring to Leeds’ first-team in the years to come.
And he more than helped Junior Firpo carve out a late chance for the visitors in the 1-1 draw. Unfortunately, Leeds were unable to find a winner.
Lang lauds Summerville as winger makes Leeds debut
Summerville posted a lengthy statement on Instagram following the game. He admitted that he was a little emotional over the fact that he had been given the chance to play in the Premier League.
The wide-man may only be 19, but the impact he has made is perhaps best highlighted by the number of players who reached out with messages of support.
Many Leeds teammates lauded Summerville, but there were also figures such as Lang – who was heavily linked with Leeds in the summer – who sent messages of encouragement and congratulations…
