Yannick Bolasie says £60m Arsenal target has the ‘world at his feet’ right now

It’s fair to say Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is one of the most eye-catching Premier League players in the league right now.

The Frenchman has been an absolute star for Palace and it’s little wonder he is attracting the attention of number of big clubs.

Liverpool are believed to be keen on signing Olise alongside Manchester United. Arsenal, too, have also shown an interest in the winger and it’s even been reported that Olise himself would favour a move to the Gunners over everyone else.

However, while Olise might be flying at the Eagles, former Palace favourite Yannick Bolasie has said that while he rates Olise highly, he’s a long way to go before he’s at the level of another Selhurst hero, Wilf Zaha.

Yannick Bolasie tips Michael Olise for a big future

Bolasie was speaking out on his X account in response to a Palace account suggesting that Olise was now better than a ‘peak’ Zaha.

And defending his former teammate, Bolasie suggested that while Olise has everything going for him, Zaha is still the main man when it comes to Palace.

Olise would get better with a move to Arsenal

Certain players absolutely thrive when given the chance to go and play with better players and we think Olise would be one of those.

Not to discredit Palace at a club or the quality of its players, but it’s just the way the Premier League food chain is right now.

Arsenal are the better side with better players and a better coaching team. It would be very intriguing to see how Olise did under the manager of Mikel Arteta. Further, seeing him link up with stars like Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka would be so easy on the eye.

Palace want around £60m for Olise if he is to go elsewhere. And given the talent, and now the comparisons from fans to Zaha, it’s easy to see why that demand is so high.
