Arsenal have done a lot of business within the Premier League over the past 12 months.
The likes of Jorginho, Declan Rice, David Raya, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have all been signed from other Premier League teams over the past year or so, and now, Arsenal may well be looking at further additions from within their own division.
Indeed, Pedro Neto and Ivan Toney have both been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal, and according to Steve Kay, speaking on KS1TV, there’s another attacker within the Premier League that Mikel Arteta is a big fan of.
According to Kay, Arteta is a big fan of Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise.

Arteta a fan of Olise
Kay shared what he knows about the 21-year-old.
“You mention Michael Olise there, he’s a good player and again I know that Mikel Arteta is a fan of Olise, but, for me, I don’t know. He’s one of these players, he does it for Palace, he plays well, but, for me, Neto seems to have a bit more and would fit into Arsenal’s system more than Olise would,” Kay said.
Perfect for Arsenal
It’s really not surprising to hear that Arteta is a big fan of Olise. After all, from the outside looking in, he looks like he’s perfect for Arsenal.
He fits the age profile of the players Arsenal have become known for signing as of late at the age of just 21, and he’d play that role as a Bukayo Saka backup to perfection.
Make no mistake about it, Olise is a superstar in the making.
Come to think of it, Olise could be utilised in multiple positions for Arsenal, and we’d be very intrigued by the prospect of the Crystal Palace star playing at the Emirates.
Perhaps this is one to keep an eye on ahead of the summer transfer window.
