A number of Arsenal fans have taken to comment on reports the Gunners have looked at a move for Thilo Kehrer – and it is fair to say that the reaction has been incredibly mixed.
According to Foot Mercato, the Gunners have looked into the possibility of signing the 24-year-old this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain, of course, have produced two of the most exciting deals of the window so far. They have landed both Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi.
That potentially leaves Kehrer further down the pecking order in both of his main positions. And that may have encouraged Arsenal.
However, the report noted that the £33 million Germany international wants to stay at Parc des Princes. But it is suggested that that situation could yet change and a loan move could become possible.
Whatever happens, it appears that a section of the Arsenal fanbase will not be pleased.
Plenty have taken to social media to implore Edu not to target Kehrer. They feel that he is no better than what the club already have at their disposal.
