Neville waxed lyrical about Everton ace Pickford after Euro 2020 display
Gary Nevill has labelled Everton ace Jordan Pickford as England’s best player at Euro 2020.
The former Sunderland man has been sensational for the Three Lions, keeping a clean sheet in each of his four games.
He was roundly praised for his form following England’s win over Germany in the last-16 yesterday.
BBC pundit Rio Ferdinand lauded the shot-stopper for his composure and ever-growing confidence.
Taking to Twitter to react, the former Manchester United ace claimed the 27-year-old was his man of the match from yesterday’s clash. He also praise him for being a ‘different player’ and acknowledged his previous criticism of the ace.
Neville said: “My MOM last night was Jordan Pickford and I also think he’s been England’s player of the tournament so far. I’ve been critical of him with Everton but with England, he’s a different player!”
