Victor Osimhen has been one of the biggest names in this summer’s transfer rumour mill, with Arsenal and Chelsea both linked with the Napoli striker.
The Nigerian international is considered one of the best centre-forwards in the world, yet with Arsenal and Chelsea in the market for a new striker, neither club is yet to reach an agreement of sorts for Osimhen despite Napoli’s eagerness to sell the forward.
Although Chelsea have made a loan approach for Osimhen, it appears that the Blues could still miss out on a deal for the attacker, with Arsenal yet to make a move of any kind for the former LOSC Lille superstar this summer.
Yet it now looks like Osimhen will be heading to Saudi Arabia on deadline day.

Napoli working with Al-Ahli to agree Osimhen transfer
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are closing in on an agreement with Al-Ahli to sell Osimhen in a deal worth €80m (£67m) plus add-ons.
Di Marzio posted on Twitter: “Osimhen to Al-Ahli, parties working on final details: 4-year contract at around €40m per year. Napoli expected to earn around €80m + add-ons. Release clause will be included.”
With Arsenal and Chelsea strongly linked with Osimhen all summer, the striker moving to Saudi Arabia is nothing short of a disappointing development for the two Premier League sides.
And with time running out for both teams to land a new attacker, Osimhen heading to Al-Ahli could see Arsenal and Chelsea fail to sign a forward before the deadline tonight, with only a few hours remaining before the window shuts.

Osimhen will be shocked he’s not heading to the Premier League
Osimhen seemed destined for the Premier League this summer, with the Napoli striker rumoured with a move to England for years with this window the ideal opportunity for the attacker to finally make the switch.
And for Arsenal and Chelsea, they will be astonished that Osimhen has opted to move to Saudi Arabia rather than wait around until the January transfer for the opportunity to finally join a Premier League team.
Yet as we know, football is not a sport for the patient, and Napoli are well within their right to sell Osimhen to whoever is willing to pay, even if it means the striker missing out on his dream move.
