Manchester City supporters are fuming that the club could be handing Raheem Sterling a new contract.
According to the Telegraph, the England international will sit down with the club to discuss his future after Euro 2020. City are ready to hand Sterling a new deal, with the winger’s contract set to expire in two years time.

As per the report, the 26-year-old attacker is not keen on joining either Tottenham or Arsenal despite rumours in recent weeks. Sterling was regularly a target for criticism last season by Manchester City supporters despite scoring 14 goals in all competitions.
Moreover, the winger broke his goalscoring duck in a major international competition for England as Sterling scored the winner against Croatia on Sunday.

Indeed, this news came as a surprise to City supporters with some fans convinced that Sterling would leave this summer. The attacker lost his starting XI place under Pep Guardiola last season.
