Before Friday’s deadline, there’s reason to believe that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could still be busy in the transfer market.
Arsenal are still attempting to offload the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsdale, two English talents no longer receiving the minutes they deserve.
Crystal Palace want Nketiah and one more Arsenal player – it could be a very busy last few days for Edu and his team.
Similarly, Ange Postecoglou has players to shift at Tottenham, and could still sanction three more departures.
The first will be Manor Solomon’s move to Leeds, an excellent chance for the winger to go and play regular first team minutes.
Otherwise, both Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso are expected to find new clubs – a duo who might be cherished under different management.
That being said, if both Arsenal and Tottenham offload the players mentioned before the deadline, they might still be considering a late move for Ivan Toney.
As after The Telegraph shared news of Chelsea’s interest in Toney, they also mentioned a bid from a mystery Premier League rival.
Arsenal and Tottenham might actually be rivalling Chelsea to sign Ivan Toney
According to the report mentioned, another Premier League side as well as Chelsea have registered a bid late on.
Brentford want £50m for Toney this summer, and are hoping that fresh interest from England can spark a bidding war with Saudi Pro-League side Al-Ahli.

Toney has agreed personal terms with Al-Ahli, but the two clubs are yet to find common ground on a fee.
Of course, it’s interesting to consider what other clubs in the Premier League besides Chelsea could actually be interested.
Perhaps Manchester City are now turning their heads after losing Julian Alvarez, worried what an Erling Haaland injury would now mean.
Otherwise, given Gabriel Jesus is injured again at Arsenal, perhaps the Gunners are finally willing to take a risk on Toney, who the club have often been advised to sign.
On the other side of north London, many may be wondering why Spurs are still being linked with Toney – they’ve already signed Dominic Solanke.
But Tottenham retained interest in Toney even after signing Solanke according to reports, a statement of their ambition to improve.
