Leeds United need to be busy in the final days of this summer transfer window.

The Whites haven’t had the best of starts to this season, and after losing a number of star players this summer, they need to re-bolster their squad.

Luckily, it sounds as though reinforcements are on the way.

Largie Ramazani joined the Yorkshire club last week, and now, another attacking player is set to arrive.

Manor Solomon to join Leeds

According to David Ornstein, Manor Solomon is set to join Leeds United on loan.

The deal is set to be finalised on Tuesday, and an announcement could be imminent.

The winger was linked with Leeds last week, and it seems as though this deal has accelerated quickly.

This move could prove to be quite the coup for Leeds.

Indeed, Solomon is a player with Champions League pedigree. He’s scored against Real Madrid in the past and, once upon a time, he was the most in-form player in the Premier League 18 months ago with Fulham.

Manor Solomon to Leeds could be Signing of the Summer

Solomon to Leeds could well be the best signing any team in the Championship makes this summer.

The ‘really good’ winger is a cut above the standard of the Championship.

There’s a reason Tottenham signed him last summer, at his best, this is a player who is good enough to play for a top club.

However, that said, there are some potential downsides to this deal.

Solomon has missed large chunks of the last two seasons with injuries, and, sadly, it is the same sort of issue that continues recurring with his knee.

If Solomon can put those issues behind him, he will be one of Leeds’ very best players, but, unfortunately, there’s no guarantee that he will be able to stay fit this season.

This could be the signing that ultimately fires Leeds back to the Premier League next season.
