Many believe these comments and posts have been negotiation tactics from Salah, and now, speaking to Premier League Productions, Salah has somewhat changed his tune.

Indeed, ahead of the game against Manchester City this weekend, Salah was asked if this may be his final game vs City for Liverpool.

Salah was asked if Sunday will be his final game for Liverpool against Manchester City.

The winger said that he doesn’t know, and, ultimately, he doesn’t care as his full focus is now on simply winning the Premier League rather than his future.

Salah had previously spoken as if this was his final season at Liverpool, but now, he’s added a bit of doubt, suggesting that he could stay.

“Sunday may be your last game against Man City, is it a bit more special for you for that?” Salah was asked.

“To be fair, I don’t know. I just feel like my whole focus now is to win the Premier League, it doesn’t matter if it’s the last game or not the last game, we will see,” Salah said.

This might well end up being Salah’s final game against Manchester City for Liverpool, and, if it is, he’ll be signing off with an incredible record against the Premier League champions.

Indeed, Salah always turns up in the big games, and he has a remarkable record against Manchester City.

Salah knows how to score against Pep Guardiola’s side, and he’ll be hoping to continue that incredible record at the weekend at the Etihad.

As Salah says, his main focus now is to go on and win the Premier League, and Liverpool will take a big step towards becoming champions if they can beat their rivals on Sunday.

If this is indeed Salah’s final game against City, he’ll want to sign off with a bang, and there’s every chance he’ll be able to do just that considering his form as of late.
