Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed following his side’s win over PSV Eindhoven last night that Bukayo Saka was ‘limping’ after picking up a knock.
The Gunners dominated the game yesterday, but they found it really hard to find the back of the net. Granit Xhaka’s goal in the second half sealed the victory, but seeing Saka in pain on the ground was a really worrying sight for Arsenal supporters.

Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka was limping after Arsenal 1-0 PSV Eindhoven
Saka started on the right wing for Arsenal yesterday and he was outstanding.
The young Englishman was brilliant on the ball, took players on for fun and had a few pops at goal as well. He really should’ve scored once or twice yesterday, but his overall performance deserves immense praise.
At one point in the second half, Saka drove past three PSV players, riding their challenges, and had a shot at goal. It really was a brilliant run, but right after he shot, he went to ground in pain.
Replays showed that Saka was kicked from behind during his driving run, and he was visibly hurt. Arteta took him off in the 85th minute, and the Arsenal boss revealed later that the youngster was ‘limping’ after the game.
Arteta said in his press conference, as per Arsenal.com: “Yeah, he got a kick.
“He was limping a bit but hopefully, he will be fine.”

TBR View:
Saka is one of Arsenal’s most important players, and if he’s sidelined with an injury, the Gunners’ season could crumble. Thankfully for them, the issue doesn’t sound serious.
The 21-year-old has been in fantastic form for the North Londoners this season.
Branded as ‘wonderful’ by Matt Taylor on Sky Sports News, Saka has five goals and four assists to his name already, and he is one of the biggest reasons why the Gunners are sitting at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal take on Southampton in the Premier League next and Saka, despite limping after the game, should recover in time. If he has a good game at the St Mary’s, the Gunners will likely come away with all three points.
