Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has been praised by Sky Sports pundit Matt Taylor for his goal against Bodo/Glimt.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners headed to Norway to face the reigning league champions in the Europa League.

And Saka opened the scoring in the 24th minute with what turned out to be the winner in the match.

The £70,000-a-week ace played a quick one-two with Lokonga to get through in the box.

Saka’s initial shot was blocked but the ball came off his forehead and bounced past the goalkeeper.

Sky Sports described the goal as ‘fortunate, but clinical’, while Taylor described it as “wonderful”.

“They’ve been a constant threat so far this evening and Saka has got a wonderful goal,” he said on Sky Sports News.

“Arsenal have just started to quicken the tempo around the area.”

Meanwhile, Sky Sports journalist Sam Blitz said: “Saka won’t score a luckier goal in his life but that’s what happens to players on form.

“That’s three goals in four days for the Arsenal man who is starting to get in and amongst the goals after a slow start to the season.”

It proved to be the only goal of the match as the Gunners made it six consecutive wins in a row in all competitions.

Saka was withdrawn around the hour mark, Mikel Arteta understandably saving him for Sunday’s meeting with Leeds United.

Arsenal have three wins from three in the Europa League to stay top of Group A, as well as being at the Premier League summit.
