Mika Biereth has posted on Instagram to confirm he has joined Arsenal from Fulham after a spectacular 2020-21 campaign with the Cottagers – albeit their Under-18 side. The youngster scored an incredible 21 goals in 21 league games. Now, Biereth has posted on Instagram after joining Arsenal.

Biereth, 18, scored 21 goals in 21 league games as Fulham finished top of the Southern edition of the Under-18 Premier League. Meeting Northern winners Manchester City in the final, Fulham lost 3-1 – but Biereth deserves enormous praise. His form caught the eye of Arsenal.

Now, Arsenal have swooped.  The Athletic claimed, as per Football London, last week that Biereth had rejected a new contract at Fulham to sign for Arsenal. Now, the striker has confirmed a move across London with a post on Instagram. He is likely to be a part of the club’s Under-23 side next term.

What have Liverpool star Elliott and others said to Biereth – following Arsenal move?

Obviously, it will be a while before Arsenal fans get to see what all the fuss is about regarding the London-born talent. He is expected to be in the 23’s next season, but he has numerous options ahead of him – including Folarin Balogun. In the first team, Arsenal have a plethora of strikers.

Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are in the final year of their contracts and could leave. But their exits would hardly convince Mikel Arteta to turn to a rookie teenage talent. One for the future, then. His ex-Fulham academy teammate Harvey Elliott responded.

As did, Bayern Munich sensation and Germany international Jamal Musiala.
