Micky van de Ven has named his Tottenham Hotspur teammate he thought played really well in Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Everton on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou’s men will be extremely deflated after throwing away the lead on two occasions at Goodison Park, with the Toffees scoring a very late equaliser.
There will be some concerns over the fact that Spurs conceded from two set-pieces. But there were also some real positives for Postecoglou.
Micky van de Ven praises Richarlison after Tottenham draw
Van de Ven was labelled frightening for his performance for Tottenham. Meanwhile, some of the other key players continue to make their way back to full fitness.

But of course, the main highlight was the two goals for Richarlison. Richarlison provided two outstanding finishes in the first-half against his former club.
And speaking on Spurs Play, Micky van de Ven suggested that the Brazilian was one player who deserved to be on the winning side on Merseyside.
“Richy played really well, scored two important goals for us. It’s unlucky for him that he can’t get away from here with three points after two goals,” he said.
Brazilian absolutely flying right now
Richarlison is on the kind of run some would not have expected from him. The 26-year-old has now scored nine goals in his last 10 appearances in all competitions.
There were concerns that Richarlison would never make the grade at Tottenham. But he seems to be emphatically silencing those doubters right now with his performances.
Certainly, the forward is making sure that Ange Postecoglou has absolutely no choice but to keep him in the side when Heung-min Son returns from international duty.
And a lot of teams will be worried about the prospect of facing this Tottenham side while Richarlison is in the form he is currently in.
There is every chance that Spurs will be able to bounce back from Saturday’s disappointment very quickly.
