Michel Vorm rates Harry Kane display out of 10 on Tottenham Instagram

Michel Vorm has provided a superb response to Tottenham Hotspur on Instagram when asked to give Harry Kane a rating out of 10 following his performance on Saturday.

Kane was undoubtedly the star of the show as Spurs beat Manchester City in an amazing game at the Etihad Stadium. He scored twice and played a key role in Dejan Kulusevski’s opener with a brilliant pass for Son Heung-min.

It was an unbelievable showing from the Tottenham talisman. And it emphatically silenced those who doubted the striker following his struggles in the early stages of the campaign.

In truth, anyone who has watched Kane a lot this season would suggest that he has been excellent for some time. And his goals tally of 17 in all competitions is starting to reflect that.

The result leaves Antonio Conte’s men in a brilliant position in the race for the top four in the Premier League. They are currently eighth in the table.

However, they have three games in hand over Manchester United, who occupy that final Champions League qualification spot.

They also have to play most of their rivals. And Arsenal and Wolves meet on Thursday, so that result will also help Tottenham.

What will also help Spurs is Kane maintaining this sort of form for the rest of the campaign. Of course, that may not be easy given how good he was against Pep Guardiola’s side.

Reports claimed at the weekend that he has been left amazed by how fit he now is following the Italian’s appointment.

That certainly bodes well for the rest of the season. And it also bodes well for what Kane’s future may hold at Tottenham.
