Micah Richards has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski after watching him in action against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground last week.
The former Manchester City star has noted what makes Kulusevski so special.
So, what has Micah Richards said about Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski? Let’s take a look.
Micah Richards raves about Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski
Well, Micah Richards has given his take on Tottenham Hotspur and Sweden international winger Dejan Kulusevski.
The former Manchester City star was hugely impressed by the display produced by Kulusevski for Tottenham against Nottingham Forest last week.
Spurs beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League last Friday evening.
Kulusevski provided the assist for the first goal and himself scored the second. Gary Neville said after the match that the £25 million (Football.London) winger has the potential to become a £100 million player.
BBC Sport pundit Richards has now given his verdict on Kulusevski and has noted just how hard the former Juventus youngster works.

Richards said about Kulusevski on The Rest is Football podcast: “Kulusevski is back to his best. On Friday night he was excellent. He works so hard, has such a good left foot. I like the positions he picks up as well, even if he plays in the middle in the number 10 role with Johnson playing on the right.
“He just has the freedom to do whatever he wants and it seems as though he is relishing it. Absolutely wonderful player. Son going to the left which allows Richarlison to be back amongst the goals. I just think the manager, the little tweaks he has made, has just helped the team so much. Starting with Son up-front and then bringing Richarlison up there. Long may it continue.”
When former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker noted that Kulusevski has run more than any other player in the Premier League this season, Richards replied: “It’s madness. Just he runs though, he presses and he is quick, so you have players who do up and down running, and they used to be your midfielders – your number eights, who would go back and forth and back and forth.
“But it’s the sprints he puts in as well, how much he does of the sprinting, not just the long running. His intensity which he runs at is ridiculous. It works for this team so much and allows the full-backs to get involved and join in. He has just been a joy to watch this season.”
Dejan Kulusevski could become world class
In my view, Tottenham Hotspur and Sweden international winger Dejan Kulusevski has the potential to become a world-class player.
I believe that if Kulusevski continues to play like he has done for Spurs and adds more facets to his game, then in two or three years, he could become an ‘elite’ player.
Kulusevski is only 23 now. He is still developing as a player. I believe that there is more to come from the winger.
