Gary Lineker has said that Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski is like Manchester City star Jack Grealish.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has noted the similarities between Kulusevski and City and England international winger Grealish.

Well, Gary Lineker has been raving about Tottenham Hotspur and Sweden international winger Dejan Kulusevski.

The former Tottenham striker has been hugely impressed by how well Kulusevski has done so far this season.

The BBC Match of the Day presenter has compared the 23-year-old to Manchester City and England international winger Jack Grealish, noting how the two players are similar.

Lineker said on The Rest is Football podcast: “Kulusevski has run more than any other player this season.”

The MOTD presenter added: “It’s hard to get the ball off him, isn’t it? He is a little bit like Grealish in a way that he is strong and powerful.”

Dejan Kulusevski potentially better than Jack Grealish

In my view, Dejan Kulusevski is potentially a better player than Jack Grealish. I think that the Tottenham Hotspur star will go on to have a better career than the Manchester City ace.

Grealish is a very good winger who can dribble with the ball and is very creative. However, at City, the England international does not get to express those traits.

The former Aston Villa star, who was once linked with Tottenham, often plays the ball backwards. He is not guaranteed a place in the City starting lineup either because of Jeremy Doku.

Moreover, Grealish is 28 now. He is at the top of his game. But, not many will name him among the truly best wingers in the Premier League.

Kulusevski is only 23 now and is a very young player. He is quick and strong on the ball. The Sweden international is always looking for the forward pass and has been tipped to become a £100 million player in the future.

In my view, Kulusevski will become a better player at 28 than Grealish is now.
