Mat Ryan has sent a classy message to Bernd Leno on Instagram after the Arsenal goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in their important victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
Arsenal were dealt a blow ahead of the game, with Aaron Ramsdale suffering a hip injury. The Englishman was not involved at Villa Park.

The injury meant that Leno came in for his first Premier League appearance since August. It has certainly been a frustrating season for the Germany international.
Reports claimed that he wanted to leave during the January transfer window. And it would be little surprise if he did indeed move at the end of the campaign.
But he stepped up when Arsenal needed him on Saturday. Leno kept a clean sheet, denying Philippe Coutinho right at the end of the game.
And there were some brilliant moments following the full-time whistle. Ramsdale went over to celebrate with him, while many of his Arsenal teammates embraced Leno. It was clear just how delighted they all were for the 30-year-old.

Leno has now taken to Instagram to comment on his return to the side. And perhaps the best response came from Ryan.
The Australian spent the second-half of last season on loan with the Gunners. And, coincidentally, he made his Arsenal debut at Villa Park with Leno suspended.
Ryan has since moved on to Real Sociedad. But he joined a host of Arsenal players past and present in lauding Leno on Instagram following the big win for Mikel Arteta’s side…
