Martinelli and Martinez react to Mat Ryan move
Gabriel Martinelli, Alex Runarsson and Emi Martinez have all taken to Instagram to wish Mat Ryan well after the former Arsenal loanee completed his move to Real Sociedad this week.
Ryan proved to be a popular signing after arriving on loan in January. The 29-year-old gave a very good account of himself in the three games he played for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Gunners were keen to keep Ryan. Sky Sports reported last month that they were one of the sides keen to sign the Australian this summer.
It was noted that he was expected to leave Brighton with his contract up next year.
He has now sealed a move. However, he will not be playing at the Emirates next year.
